Pumpkin Infused Premier Protein Recipes

One of my go to ways to stay full is to grab a Premier Protein shake. Each shake has 30 grams of protein and are just 2 SmartPoints. When Premier Protein reached out to me* and asked if I would share their pumpkin recipes, I couldn't say yes quick enough. I love these drinks already but add pumpkin and you know I'm on board. Here are 3 pumpkin infused recipes that pack a ton of protein with no guilt.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Smoothie
  • 1 Premier Protein 11oz Vanilla Shake
  • ½ cup of canned pumpkin
  • ½ tsp of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 1 tsp of honey

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

Pumpkin Protein Waffles
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 2/3 cups Premier Protein Vanilla shake
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

Directions: Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt in large bowl. In a second bowl, add eggs, pumpkin, Premier Protein vanilla shake, and butter; beat well. Gently fold in the flour mixture. Cook according to your waffle iron directions.

Pumpkin Pie Protein Mug Cake
  • 3tbsp of Premier Protein Vanilla Shake
  • 4tbsp of all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp of pumpkin puree
  • 1tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1tbsp of pumpkin pie spice

Mix ingredients in a mug and microwave for 1 min and 15 seconds. Let cake cool and enjoy!

Before discovering these recipes, I was worried that I would be using far too many points this Fall when enjoying my favorite pumpkin filled treats. Thanks to Premier Protein and the above recipes, I'll be able to have my pumpkin goodies with a solid does of protein to help keep me full as well.

Have you tried Premier Protein shakes before? If so, which is your favorite flavor?
