A Pop of Color for Fall

Later this week I plan to spend the morning shopping while C is at school. While this doesn't sound like anything too exciting to most, it's kind of a big deal. Not only do I get to shop child-free but I'm getting to treat myself to new Fall and Winter clothes. Since losing weight, I've had to purge my closest and am in need of some new items. The best part is I get to use money I made from selling items on Poshmark to score new pieces to add to my closet.

When I head out this week, I'll be shopping at Old Navy. It's my go to place for clothing for myself. Between sales, clearance and coupons, I feel like I get the most bang for my buck. I've made a list of wish list items and hope to find a few of them this week. Here is what I have my eye on...

I love this Eyelet-trim Flutter Sleeved Top in Fir Ever. The cut of the shirt is flattering and I am loving this color green. I'm attempting to add more colors to my wardrobe and this is a step in the right direction. I think the color would be perfect for both Fall and Winter.

This isn't a top that would have been something I would grab a year ago. But I am loving the bold colors and floral print. The yellow option in this Ruffle Sleeve Swing Top is right up my alley. I've been on the lookout for yellow and mustard tops for family photos this Fall.

I own this sweatshirt already, in gray and one size too big but would love to pick up a new smaller size in a fun color. Give me the Relaxed Raglan Sleeve Hooded Sweatshirt in spice girl.

I shared on Instagram that I was on the hunt for an oversized cardigan with pockets and have yet to find the perfect one. I like the color and length of this Open Front Long Line Sweater but it's just not chunky enough.

Give me green! I've been drawn to floral and shades of green. This Pintuck Swing Blouse in green floral is screaming my name. I love the cut of the blouse and the flow and look forward to seeing if I can pull off such a busy pattern.

I sold my too large relaxed plaid shirt last week so I would love to replace it with this option in Emerald Bay Plaid. Paired with leggings and boots this would be a perfect Fall outfit. I could wear jeans in Winter and keep rocking this pretty top.

One habit I plan to keep this Fall and Winter is my love of layering. I've always been a fan of adding vests, cardigans and jackets to top to help keep me warm. Scarves are often used as well for when it's downright cold.

I recently received my 4th Stitch Fix. (Stitch Fix details can be found HERE). I only kept 1 top because I knew I needed to go through my closest and determine what items I really should be purchasing. However, I love what I kept. It's perfect for warm days, my love of flannel and a light layering option. The Penny Lace Detail Plaid Top will be perfect for Fall. Yes? (The black Boyfriend Cardigan pictured is from Old Navy and can be found HERE)

I'll be sure to share what goodies I pick up once I've been shopping!
What are you looking forward to wearing this Fall?
