June's "Read" Bookshelf

June was such a busy month for our family. Between James being out of town 14 straight days, Connor having 2 weeks of swim lessons and every day responsibilities and plans, we were on the go way more than usual. I didn't let that stop me from reading though. I wasn't able to read as much as last month (find that recap HERE} but did read 4 books with another one nearly finished. Here is what I read in June.

Home by Melissa Pearl

Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain

The First Lie by Diane Chamberlain

180 Seconds by Jessica Park

Necessary Lies was my favorite book from last month. I haven't read a ton of Chamberlain's books prior to this month. I read The Midwife's Confession nearly 2 years ago but loved the novel. I think I am going to read more of her books. Does anyone have a suggestion on which to pick up next? The Stolen Marriage has a high Goodreads rating so I may start with that one.

I would recommend any of the others listed above. 180 Seconds and Home are both free if you have Kindle Unlimited. I've been reading more and more books offered on Kindle Unlimited, many are quick easy reads from new-to-me authors. For less than $10 a month you can access up to 10 titles at a time.

In July, I hope to read another 4 books. I would love to finish The Hypnotist's Love Story. I started it in April and am finally nearing the end. I don't know what it is about this book but it's a tough one for me to get through.

I hope to read Confessions of a Domestic FailureWe Were The Lucky Ones, and After You Left this months. The first is for book club, the second is about WWII (my favorite genre to read) and the last is yet another freebie from Amazon.
The What We're Reading Wednesday will go live on Wednesday morning. I will be sharing my Currently post then (double booked myself) so please come back and link-up then!
