Little Letters | Volume 6

Happy Friday, friends! Today is the day I write letters to my husband, to Connor and friends, to people in places I've visited, to the thoughts in my head and everything in between. I'll be sharing a letter-filled post with you each month on the second Friday. I'd love for you to join me as I join Kristin from Taz and Belly for this fun new Friday link-up. As Kristin said they can be serious or silly, just cozy up with a cup of joe/tea/wine and share your thoughts in short letter form. Let's begin!

Dear Connor,
You have been so much fun this Summer. I realize it's just been 4 weeks and we have a full 10 weeks left but so far, you are a Summer break dream come true. You are clever and chatty and make me laugh no less than 20 times a day. You are good for my soul, little guy. So good.

Dear National Donut Day,
You mean nothing to me. NOTHING. If I'm going to splurge it's not going to be on a empty calorie, high sugar treat. I'm waiting to be ridiculous with sweets this Fall. Bring on all the pumpkin.

Dear Mother Nature,
You've been in one heck of a good mood. I love the weather you are giving us and would gladly take high 70's, low 80's all Summer long. While I know that's not going to happen, I am ready for Summer this year.

Dear Blogging,
As much as I love you, I'm going to be putting some space between us over the next couple of months. I need to focus on some other tasks and while I love this space, there is just too much I want to do in this season of life so let's start seeing less of each other, okay?

Dear To Do List,
You are on demanding fool. I can't ever complete everything on your list yet I try my hardest. I'm half tempted to have a to do list free Summer. Wonder how that would go over?

Dear VBS,
Connor loves you! He hasn't stopped talking all week about the fun he had this week. I love that he has a heart for Jesus and sharing it with others. Of course, he made new friends this week because that's what Connor does.

Dear $14 Target Bras,
You are everything I had hoped for. I needed new bras but didn't want to spend a ton in hopes that I would lose more of the ladies with my weight loss. You do exactly what I need you to do and for less than $30 I have two of you to depend on.

Dear GUMC,
I've missed you. We've been neglecting our Sunday church service and while there is no real reason, I am glad we made time for you last week. We needed a dose of Christ and a reminder of His everlasting love.
