November Recap + Our Christmas Bucket List

How is it that I am recapping November and thinking of the fun we will be having in December? 2016 has flown by. I feel like the older I get the faster life races by. It doesn't help that we have a little one who often reminds us that he isn't a baby anymore but in fact a big kid. Sorry, Connor, you will always be our baby boy. Today I want to share with you the goals we achieved last month plus reveal our Christmas Bucket List. Instead of working on goals for December, I want to focus on making the most of our holiday. I'll resume goals again in January (2017!!). Here is a recap of November.

Here is what we accomplished from last month's list
Have game night with the Underwoods
Watch an OSU game with friends
Update About Me
Create new blog button
Sleep more
Less sweets and sugary treats
Start/Host "Uninvited" book study
Work on scissor skills
Decorate for Christmas
Attend Gilmore Girls viewing party

I only missed 2 goals last month: have an at home date night with James and have a living room camp-out. Why is making time for date night so hard? Even at home we can't seem to pull it off! We have a date night planned for this weekend and I can't wait. Some one on one with my guy. And Connor has been asking to camp-out over night in the living room for ages but I have to admit, I don't know how to pull this off without either a) him staying up later or b) us going to bed early. Maybe this will be something we tackle over Christmas break.

Now I usually share my goals for the new month but I'm scrapping goals and instead hope to focus on our Christmas Bucket List. We've been making so many fun plans for the holiday that I couldn't pass up the chance on making (a very achievable) bucket list for the guys and I. A few activities are family traditions and others are new to us events. Either way we are going to have the very best holiday this year. Here is our 2016 Christmas Bucket List!

We have many plans already in place for the bulk of these tasks but others are things we are going to add in as we celebrate the holiday. While I love making the very most of the season I didn't want to schedule too much and add stress to an already busy time of year.

Do you have a holiday bucket list? I'd love to hear what you plan to do this month with your family to celebrate Christmas. Only 23 days till the big day!

Happy Friday, friends!
