Holiday Home Tour - Christmas 2016

Decorating our home for the holiday is something I look forward to every year. I am one of those people who decorate early so we can enjoy the festive decor a bit longer. This year I decked the halls earlier than ever before: November 12. The highlight of our decor has to be our Christmas tree. My beloved Thomas Kinkade tree has a short fuse so we had to replace it with a new tree, that I've fallen head over heels in love with. You know how picky people are when looking for a car or home? That's me when searching for a new tree. But I found the perfect one and can't wait to share it with you. So let's do that right now. Here is our home this Christmas.

For those of you who will ask, I purchase the bulk of my decorations at Target, Hobby Lobby and a few things from our local grocery store, Kroger. I buy most of new decorations after the holidays so I can score them at a heavily discounted price. My newest obsession is the "Christmas red truck" and I hope to pick up a few more pieces with this truck after Christmas or even as a Christmas gift.

Our halls have been decked and I can't wait to host Christmas Eve in our home for the first time ever. From the entryway to the living and dining rooms to the kitchen, we've added a bit of Christmas cheer through the entire house. I'll be a bit blue when I have to take down our decorations after the holiday but I am planning on putting up a few "winter" pieces this January.

Now it's your turn!
Share your home with us this holiday and join our Holiday Home Tour.

Because my love of all things Christmas has no end, I want to invite you to share your Christmas tree ornaments with us during the Christmas Ornament Show & Tell link-up party that goes live December 20th! Myself and four others want to see what makes your tree so gorgeous. Share photos of your favorite ornaments in a post on the 20th so we can celebrate the magic of the holidays with you.
