December's TKBTB with Connor

Welcome to December's The Kids Behind The Blog linkup. Thank you to everyone that shared their little ones with us last month. If you are new to the linkup, you can get all the details in THIS POST but the gist of it is for us mom bloggers to give some spotlight to our littlest loves, the ones that made us mothers. Each month you will ask your little one(s) a handful of questions that the TKBTB hosts provide and than share those answers with us in a link-up post the second Wednesday of each month. Simple enough, right? With Christmas just a week and a half away the hosts decided to stick with a Christmas themed questionnaire. Here is what Connor had to shares this month.

  1. Which reindeer is your favorite? Rudolph, like my cat Rudy.
  2. What do you want for Christmas? A Paw Patroller and the PJ Mask Headquarters. But I told Santa. Twice.
  3. What would you do if you caught Santa at your house? Look in his bag of toys.
  4. What if Santa go stuck in your chimney? We don't have a chimney.
  5. Do you want it to snow on Christmas? Why or why not? Yes! I want to go outside and play in it and build a snowman and even have a snowball fight.
  6. Have you been naughty or nice this year? Why? I don't know. You put me in time out today so I think today I've been naughty. Tomorrow I'll have no strikes and will be good.
  7. If Santa asked you to fly in his sleigh, would you do it? Am I allowed to?
  8. What is your favorite Christmas movie? The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skeleton isn't actually scary. He loves Christmas like me. And your, too, Momma.
  9. If you could chance the color of Rudolph's nose what color would you make it? Yellow. That's my favorite color.
  10. Sing me one Christmas Carol (then note which song they picked and how they sung it. This could be funny because kids are always mixing up lyrics!)

Is that not the best rendition of Jingle Bells you have ever heard? Oh this boy gets me, friends. Right in the heart. He didn't put up much of a fight when asked these questions. His love of Christmas made this month's Q&A a bit more tolerable. My favorite responses were that he would check out the goods inside Santa's bag if given the opportunity and his answer to if he was naughty or nice. It's a good thing Santa watches all year long because since turning 4 CJ has been a tough pill to swallow.

Next month, we will meet and share tales from our little ones with these questions. We are focusing on some "cold" weather topics since January seems to be pretty cold throughout the states.
  1. What's your favorite thing to do or play inside?
  2. Have you ever seen or played in snow?  If so, what's your favorite snow activity?
  3. What was your favorite Christmas or holiday gift you received?
  4. What's your favorite winter vacation you went on? Why?
  5. Would you rather live where it's warm all year round or have the seasons?

Grab our button and join us this month and next (January 11) with the cute, sassiness that is life with a child. You never know what will come out of a little person's mouth. We would love it if you shared such gems with us.
