15 Apple Themed Recipes + Our Favorite Apple Breakfast

Good morning friends! As you read this, we are slowly getting back to our routine because we JUST GOT BACK FROM HILTON HEAD. Yup, last week we were on vacation and we are trying to get back into the groove of things. While Connor is at school this AM, I'm going to get us unpacked, hit the grocery store and maybe catch up on some TV. My to-do this week is going to be a BIG one but one of the first things I want to do is start planning out the Fall fun we are going to experience this year #priorities. One thing for sure is we are going to go apple picking again. We had a blast last year with friends and plan to make this an annual outing.

Since we haven't gotten the chance to visit the orchard just yet, we have been enjoying some delicious apples from Lil Snappers. Lil Snappers is kid size fruit that make eating and enjoying delicious fruit easier than ever. If you are in the Ohio area you can pick up your bag at Meijer and WalMart. When Lil Snappers sent us a bag of Gala apples from Stemilt growers, I was so excited to dig in and start making tasty breakfasts, lunches and snacks with our apples.

Breakfast in our home needs to be 3 things: 1) Filling 2) Easy to assemble and 3) Connor approved. 3 days a week CJ has school so it's important that we have a good breakfast. We've been making our favorite toast and it's been a hit on the mornings we don't have a lot of time for the kitchen. Our Apple Peanut Butter toast is quick, delicious and made with protein packed ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 slice of whole wheat bread, toast
5 slices of Gala Apple
2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
1 squirt of honey

Directions:
This is pretty obvious but for those (like me) that look real skills in the kitchen, here you go! Lay toasted bread on a plate and spread with peanut butter. Spread the apple throughout your wrap on top of the peanut butter. Drizzle with honey. And enjoy!

We've put a dent in our Lil Snappers apples so we really need to hit up the farmers market or apple orchard so I can get in the kitchen and make some of thee yummy apple filled recipes listed above. What's your favorite way to enjoy apples?
