All About that Red, White and Blue

Happy Friday friends! With this being July 4th weekend, today's post is going to be dedicated to all things red, white and blue. I hope y'all have a great weekend and that the holiday gives you a chance to celebrate a bit and make some Summertime memories.

ONE

Here are the posts I shared this week in case you missed one...
Monday: June's Must Make Menu + Grown Up Grilled Cheese
Tuesday: The Epic Virus of Summer 2016
Wednesday: Reading Wednesday: June 2016
Thursday: Conversations with Connor - Part 4

TWO

We celebrated the end of June and the upcoming holiday this week by dressing in red, white and blue. By yesterday, Connor was less than interested in having his photo taken. But I have to admit, I was able to snag some fun photos of our little guy. I am happy to report that he is feeling better and that we are totally taken Summer by storm this week with days spent outdoors and evenings at local parks and with friends.

THREE

James was out of town this week so as a welcome home/let's celebrate your 3-day weekend, Connor and I baked him some festive cookies. Connor NEVER asks to bake cookies but since he did, requesting "some holiday cookies for Papa", I was quick to head to the kitchen with him to bake. We grabbed crispy Smores M&Ms from Target and tossed them in a traditional cookie recipe (minus the chocolate chips) and they are deliciously festive.

FOUR

Who doesn't love a good #flashbackFriday picture? Baby Connor was celebrating his first 4th of July. He was just 8 months old in this photo. I can't believe how fast time as flown by. In just 3 short months, we will be celebrating his 4th birthday. Someone come hold me?!
