June's TKBTB with Connor

Welcome to June's The Kids Behind The Blog linkup. Thank you to everyone that shared their little ones with us last month. If you are new to the linkup, you can get all the details in THIS POST but the gist of it is for us mom bloggers to give some spotlight to our littlest loves, the ones that made us mothers. Each month you will ask your little one(s) a handful of questions that the TKBTB hosts provide and than share those answers with us in a link-up post the second Wednesday of each month. Simple enough, right? Without any more delay, here is my Q&A with Connor J.
  1. What do you like doing with Daddy? Play games and be loud. Most days, play super heroes.
  2. What was Daddy like as a little boy? A bad Monkey. Because he is a Papa Monkey now but he is good, not bad.
  3. What's Daddy's favorite food? Spaghetti and dot booty.
  4. What does Daddy do at work? Nothing. That means zero.
  5. What is your favorite memory of Daddy? When we watched Batmunk. We both like Alvin. And yell "Alvinnnnnn!!!".

Let's clarify a few things: I asked these questions while Connor and I were picking up toys and once again when we were having bath time. At no time, was there a monkey around to influence his questions. Or so I think anyway. Also, Connor is obsessed with the using the words booty and butt. Welcome to the world of boy, Stephanie. I don't know what a dot booty is but I'm fairly certain it's nothing you eat. I asked James and he said his favorite food is anything Mexican. And in defense of my husband who is such a dedicated employee, I promise you, he works, really hard actually.

Here are July's questions -- dedicated to all things Summer.
  1. What two things do you like to do outside in the Summer?
  2. If you could go anywhere this Summer where would you go and why?
  3. What is your favorite thing about Summer?
  4. If you could pick any way to spend a hot Summer day, how would you spend it?
  5. What is your favorite Summer treat?

Grab our button and join us this month and next (July 13) with the cute, sassiness that is life with a child. You never know what will come out of a little person's mouth and we would love it if you shared such gems with us.
