WMM1001 :: Update and Goals #5

The last time I shared a #WMM1001 update was November. But I've been slowly working on my list. I've shared 4 updates previously - update number 1, number 2, number 3 and number 4. Today, I'm going to share what I've accomplished since my last update and share the tasks I want to work towards completing over the next 90 days.

Over the last 3 months, I was able to cross off 6 new accomplishments. Here is each goal and a bit of backstory on each task.
  1. No eating lunch out for a month - eating out isn't too hard to cut out but I struggle with it on mornings when we are busy and going through Chickfila is the easy way out. But we went 5 weeks without eating out - the whole month of January and the first week of February - and finally gave in and enjoyed a lunch date with friends.
  2. Leave a 100% tip at a restaurant - in December, we were out to eat as a family and I asked James if we could leave a 100% tip. It was weeks before Christmas so the timing was perfect.
  3. Donate to Goodwill 4 times - Donated Jan. 15, June 9, January 26 and February 18 - I've been purging like mad and each trip to Goodwill allowed me to donate 2 bags full of unused or not needed clothing and home goods.
  4. Attend a cookie exchange - for Christmas my MOPS group had a MNI cookie exchange. I had never attended one before but have since decided that this needs to be a yearly event.
  5. Move all my photos from my laptop to an external hard drive - I marked this as complete because I'm about 90% finished with the task as of yesterday. It took much longer than I thought because I had so many photos on my laptop.
  6. Blog for a month straight days - did you notice that I blogged every day in February? I did and this was planned over the shortest month of the year so that I could cheat a bit and have to blog a little less while blogging for an entire month.
Now it's time to share what tasks I want to work on this Spring. With the time of year in mind and thinking ahead, here are the tasks I'd like to complete by June.

Open a recipe book to a random page and cook
Grow a plant from a seed
 Take a couple's cooking class
 Attend a yoga class
 Attend a women's conference
Eat at a new restaurant and blog about the food/experience
 Host a girls only brunch
 Cook a whole chicken
 Make dinner, serving dessert first.
Leave 50 Operation Beautiful notes

10 tasks is a hefty goal but as of today, I've completed 30 of my 101 tasks. My deadline is July 2017 so I have just a little over a year to finish the other 71 task. 71 seems so big so I'm hoping that I can work on a chunk of goals every 3-4 months and accomplish as much as possible before my deadline is up. I often forget what my goals are for the time being so I've created a cute printable for the Spring to remind me. It's hanging up in my office so I see if often and have the chance of being reminded.
I'm really exited to work on my 101 in 1001. It's mind blowing to think that next year will be 2017 and I will have accomplished 101 things in 1001 days. I think that's what drew me to the idea of creating this list. Giving myself a challenge to create memories from a list of task. When I accomplish something on my list, I usually share a photo or update on Instagram with hashtag #wmm1001. Follow along as I conquer the rest of my 101 things in what's left of my 1001 days!
