Target Dollar Spot - Kid Edition

If there is anyone who loves Target Dollar Spot more than me it's Connor Frankenstein. We first pick up a bag of popcorn and a juice and then hit up the Dollar Spot for the most needed items in all of Target. This month I decided we would focus on Connor or kid-friendly finds. I snagged some good things and Connor chose an item for himself to round out our $10 spending limit.

If you are new to this series it's super simple and a must to join. You have a $10 spending limit. You pick your items from throughout the store, although I stick to the Dollar Spot, and then share what fabulous items your found within budget the 3rd Monday of the month. Simple enough, right? Here is what we scored this month.

Somehow Connor is obsessed with Star Wars. I've never seen a movie and we aren't fan so he has to have seen something on YouTube but he demanded that we pick up this Star Wars coloring book. For a buck, I wasn't going to fight it.

I've been thinking of making something to display some of Connor's preschool artwork since I've kept everything he has made thus far this year. This plaque was a must when I found it in the $3 bin. Now, if we could get back in the habit of going to school, I'll be able to update the pins. First the flu and now snow, we are never going back to school at this rate. #snowbirdproblems

Lastly, I scored some flashcards to work on with Connor when we are home, in the car or at doctor appointments and waiting. He has done pretty well with all of them except for the spelling and reading cards but I hope to have him reading and spelling the words on this cards by Fall.

Next month, I'll be sharing our Valentine's Day finds. I'm going to be focusing on Connor's Valentine's basket I made for him for under $10!
