The Picture Perfect Project Announcement

At the beginning of 2015, I started a project titled "Connor 365". The idea was that I would use my camera (not my iPhone) to capture photos of Connor. It would be a fun way to see the changes months after month, throughout an entire year. Does any one want to guess the last time I shared those photos? Or even took a "365 photo"? January 21st. Do you know how much has changed since January? Let me list me list the ways for you: we moved from Texas to Ohio, Connor moved from a crib to a toddler bed and quit his pacifier cold turkey, he is now fully potty trained and C started turned 3 and started preschool. Here is one of the last photos I took when working on the "Connor 365" project:

He was such a baby. His teeth were even a bit bucked because he was 2+ using a pacifier. Although I failed at the completing the project, I'm glad I snapped a few photos of our last days in Texas. But with all this being said, 2016 is going to be the year of photography for me and the best part is, you can join in on the fun.

In 2016 we want you to create your own photo challenge. Once a month, every week or every day. However many photos you want to take & whatever you want to take them of. The point is to set a goal and use your camera. On the 2nd Thursday of each month we invite you link up with us. You can share your photos and post about your photo challenge progress (or failures) from that month. You can also check out what other bloggers are taking photos of and maybe get some great ideas or photo tips. Challenges are always more fun when we do them together.

Think about your 'Picture Perfect Project' for 2016 and make a plan. Pick your challenge and snap those photos. Then set a date to start, grab our button and mark your calendar to join us on January 14th. We can't wait to see your photos!
