Gift Giving with Target One Spot

It's time for this month's $10 at Target post. You all loved last month's Decor Items on a Budget post so I thought I'd stick to the theme of finding steals and deal in Target's One Spot to share with you this month. My goal is to stick to finding ways to use the goodies I find and love from this part of the store. Since Christmas is Friday, I wanted to share with you simple pieces I found that had pop and fun to your holiday gift gifting.

First up is how I used the stationary and gift labels I scored. Both are pretty self explanatory but I wanted to stick to my budget on gifts and thanks to the items I got from the dollar bins at the front of the store, I was able to have a bit of fun without spending to much.

Target always draws me in with their stationary. It's my favorite part of the dollar section. I usually try to grab a handful of new prints and patterns as I send a ton of snail mail. This month, I was able to grab "Hello Holiday" note cards and stationary. When we visited Santa, our photo package included 8 wallets of Connor and Santa. I mailed out "Connor and Claus" mail to family and friends who aren't on social media or nearby to see the photos. I really liked Target's $1 gift tags his year. One is chalkboard and the other is felt. Both fun alternatives to paper tags.

When shopping last week, I discovered small glass jars and instantly thought "What could I do with those?" With no clear plain in mind, I grabbed them up and continued shopping. Later that week, I stumbled across a pin on how to make Sugar Cookie Scrub. The recipe called for everything I had on hand and the jars were exactly what I needed to store and gift the scrubs. I mixed up for a batch and added them to my gift box I snagged from Target, too. I'll be gifting these this weekend to a set of friends.

With the holidays coming, I'm going to be challenge in January to use the goodies in the One Spot in a creative way. I'm thinking this would be a great time to try my hand at a few crafts I've been toying with. Did you get any goodies this season from Target's One Spot? Like I mentioned in last month's post, you have to shop early and often to score the "good" stuff.
