As a lover of all things Fall and holidays, I'm always on the lookout for fun way to start and make family traditions. Now that Connor is a bit older, the holidays have started to really been fun because of the activities we can enjoy together. One of my 101 in 1001 items is to BOO family and friends. This past weekend the weather was beautiful so we decided to gather up some goodies and BOO a few loved ones.

Our first stop was to hit up Walmart for all our supplies. Our supplies included candy, candy and more candy! BOO kits can include just about anything you want but we wanted to make a fun little bundle of goodies to share. We picked up:
  • Mars Mixed Minis
  • Sunkist® and A&W Root Beer
  • Fun Twisty Straws
  • Halloween Buckets
  • Pumpkin Pins

We couldn't get home to fast enough to put our kits together. The only thing missing was our BOO sign. Our sign needed to share the #BOOItForward message:
Friendly ghosts have brought you treats.
Enjoy their goodies and spooky sweets.
Hang the "We've Been BOO"d" sign for others to see,
From a window or front door facing the street.
One final thing, the ghosts have ordered...
Join our monstrous movement and
#BOOITFORWARD

We assembled our kits - fill each tin with as much candy as possible and bundle it with a straw and 8 oz can of soda -  and printed our signs and instructions. Our buckets were ready for family and friends. You can find the printable HERE so you can BOO others, too!

Connor and I had the best time sneaking up on our family and friends. He didn't get why he didn't get to play with those we BOO'd and kept asking if we were trick or treating and if he was going to get BOO'd too. Poor guy!

As Connor gets older, I can see BOO'ing others to be a ton of fun. I would love to see how you've been BOO'ing your neighbors, friends and family this Fall. Share your BOO moments by using the hashtag BOOITFORWARD. Or if you have yet to BOO someone, HERE are fun ideas and kits. While you are getting ideas on how to create the perfect kit, be sure to enter Walmart's #BOOItForward sweepstakes. Imagine how awesome an extra $1,000 would be?
