Friday Favorites :: October 16

I hate to say it over and over again but can someone please tell me how time flies by so quickly? In less than 2 weeks I'm going to have a 3 year, Thanksgiving will be here before we know, which then ushers in Christmas. Can't we hit the pause button for just a bit? This Momma can't handle. What I can handle is the awesome week Connor and I had while Coxy was on a business trip. Now that he is home, I feel comfortable celebrating that I made it through a week of "single" parenting. Also, here are a few favorites from this week.

Here is what I shared Monday - Thursday this week. Wednesday's post includes a giveaway with your toddler in mind so be sure to check that out.

My name is Stephanie and I'm basic. I'm also okay with being basic. I fully blame it on being born on November 1st, which is all things Halloween, pumpkin and Fall. I don't see a thing wrong with being basic, either. I mean if being basic means I get to enjoy all the goodness shown in the above picture, than I would be happy to be basic all year long. (Side note: I may have just set a record for the number of times I used the word basic in one paragraph. #goals).

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I wanted to do something to bring attention to the disease, fight and victory. Last evening, my MOPS group and I got together and put together Chemo Care Bags for ladies who are fighting the battle. I'll have more details on that in a post next week. I'm also having a Thirty One party on Facebook, where 20% of my consultants net sales are going to be donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34. At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options. After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. NBCF provides free mammograms to women in all 50 states through their network of hospitals. If you'd like to shop and support my effort in providing NBCF a donation, feel free to join the party by RSVPing HERE.

I was showcased on XO Kerry's Motherhood Inspired post this week. Kerry's questions really made me think about myself as a Mom and what I want my message to be. Be sure to head over to her blog and check it out. She is also taking more Motherhood Inspired hosts so sign up.

I've been dressing up a bit more lately (read: I'm not in pajamas all day) and one thing I've been having a blast with is wearing some of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I recently was gifted my sterling silver Sideway Cross Bracelet from Ginny at Centime Gift. I hadn't heard of the company before but after scrolling through their site, feel in love with so many pieces. I landed on the my cross bracelet but wish I could have ordered a handful of other items. Some of the wish list items I have are their Coordinates Bracelet, Bar Signature Necklace and Mother's Ring. Because I love their one of kind pieces and amazing customer service, I've teamed up with the company to give one reader a $50 credit to their shop. Simply follow the steps in the Rafflecopter below. Winner will be picked Monday.

Happy Friday, friends!
