What We're Diggin'

You know when you discover things that make you happy? Little things that make your week? Well Casa de Cox has found some new (to us) happiness around these parts and that's what I'm sharing with you today!

 {ONE}

Connor has been invited to 2 different birthday parties. One this weekend and another the first of August. There is nothing I love more than a good celebration. We've struggled to find a Mom group here and finally have and now we have play dates, birthdays and MNOs to enjoy. Hands down, this is the funnest part of parenting: the social life!

{TWO}

Have you seen this movie yet? If not... DO IT!! When I say we've watched it every single day for 9 straight days, I am not joking. Connor ADORES it. We saw it in the theaters in March and when I needed a break one afternoon, I bought it on Apple TV and we've been hooked. If you are a fan of Sheldon Cooper, you will love this as he plays Oh.

I went to the dentist this week and had some work done because it had been nearly 3 years (!!) since my last visit and when I say I am so glad I did, it's understatement. While getting your teeth cleaned and 2 cavities (whomp whomp) filled isn't something to be joyful about, it's nice to be able to take care of myself again. I've been pushing my needs on the back burner for far too long. I've made an eye appointment for August and when that's checked off my list, I will have all my visits for the year taken care of. Mommas, don't put yourself on the back burner any longer. You gotta be your best to raise the best. Can I get an AMEN?!

Thanks to this stellar giveaway, WMM hit 1,000 fans on Bloglovin'. This jump in followers has now put our social media fans at 8,200 strong! That's amazing and so close to 10k. I'm thinking when we reach that milestone, we are going to celebrate big time!
{FIVE}

On Wednesday, I went to a Dream Dinners event and am now obsessed with their services. You pick your meals, prep them all, package them for freezing and take them home. On an evening when dinner is the last thing you want to tackle, you pull out a Dream Dinners meal and dinner will be ready in 20-45 minutes, with all the prep work taken care of so you just bake/cook and enjoy. I plan to go back in September and November.
