Weekly Favorites :: Round 1

On a weekly basis I'll read a blog post and think to myself "Dang, I wish I had wrote/thought/shared that". As a blogger, I'm a member of a community of amazing writers. Women that lay it all out there for the whole world to see. Some posts are very raw and emotional, others provide a solution to an every day issue while others just make me smile and laugh. Because I find myself connecting to posts week after week, I thought I'd share of some favorites from this week with you.

Courtney shared with us When Being a Mom Makes You Feel Mean: 6 Steps to Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself... and Your Child. If I'm going to be transparent and real for a minute, James and I can relate to sleeping and eating wars. I mean does it ever get better? Courtney gives me amazing food for thought and really breaks it down for us "mean" Mommies.

If you don't like pizza, I don't think we can be friends. Pizza is glorious in my eyes... the more the better. #fatgirlmoment If you, like me, love a good slice of cheesy goodness, then check out Beth's Grilled Pizza recipe. I've mentioned before how much we are lovin' grilling this summer and now that I have this easy recipe, you can best bet I'll be making this ASAP.

Jess from Being Mrs. Beer shared Why I Unfollowed Your Blog earlier this week and all I can say is AMEN! Jess gets it and lays it all out there for anyone wondering why a reader or two has vanished. It's you, not them.

Michelle from Grammie Time guest posted on Waltzing In Beauty this week and shared a beautiful letter to her granddaughter on her wedding day. As always Michelle brings insight, heart and beauty in her words and message. The part I loved the most was when Michelle shared that "I want her to know the wedding is for a day and that marriage is for a lifetime." This sentence is full of such purpose and meaning. Michelle's granddaughter will one day cherish this letter so very much.

Alexis from A Blissful Haven shared this gorgeous DIY Sofa Table and I'm in love. I wish we had more space for such pieces in our home but we lack space, not to mention talent. I found myself wishing we were more talented when it comes to making things ourselves but the truth is, we just lack the skill. Alexis just bought a new home so I'm hoping there are more DIYs coming our way.

Happy Weekend, friends!
Each Friday/Weekly Favorites posts are shared in these linkups:
