Currently :: Week 2

Happy Monday friends! Yes, happy! I think I'm the only one that likes Mondays. For us - Connor and I - Mondays mean back to our schedule, our beloved routine. While I adore our family fun filled weekends, I'm a fan of simple Mondays, too. Mondays are usually the days I share a simple post, thanks to a too full weekend where blogging doesn't make the priority list. Once a month, I link up with Becky from Choose Happy for a fun "Currently" post so here's what's currently going on in my world.

So much work for myself. I have been blessed with a nearly 10 new blog sponsors this month. On top of that, I have 5 Jamberry parties planned and still have to find time to run - my next race is June 27 - and then of course spend time with family, friends, James and Connor and still take care of the house, laundry, cooking and all things Mom life. It's a good thing I don't require a ton of sleep, you know?

That when I start potty training Connor next month, it's a smooth process. He asked to wear his Thomas underwear one day this week and did so for 15 minutes with no issues and even sat on the potty for 10 minutes. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. He has 90 days until his first day of preschool (!!) and he has to be potty trained to start.

First day of school interview ideas. Since this will be Connor's first year of school (Young 3 Preschool), I want to start the tradition of interviewing him each year, at the beginning and end. I'm planning to do a fun linkup with Liz and Meghan so documenting every milestone is your thing, be on the lookout for details at the beginning of August.

Right now? A snickledoodle ice cream sandwich. No, that's not my breakfast; I'm writing this Sunday evening. But that's not a bad breakfast idea if you ask me. #fatgirlstatus We've been grilling out a ton since we were gifted a grill from my brother in law. I don't know how we made it this long without one because I'm in love. Dinners have been so tasty and fairly darn healthy thanks to grilling out 3-4 times a week.

Thankful for
A really fun weekend with my boys. Friday we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary, Saturday we had a morning out, enjoying a Touch a Truck event and Sunday was spent at the zoo. It was a busy weekend but I spent it doing what I love the most: making memories with James and CJ.
