My DREADmill Playlist

I have 6 5k's scheduled from now until September. With that kind of commitment and investment, it's important that I train and use my time at the gym to my benefit. Since it's Spring in Ohio and it rains more than the sun shines, I find myself running indoors more than out. To help keep running inside enjoyable and my feet moving, I've created a iTunes playlist that gives me an upbeat tempo, pushing me closer and closer to my goals with each run.

As much as I would love to be able to turn on Pandora or I Heart Radio and just run, I can't. Slow paced songs and commercials totally kill my urge to push my limitations. Here are the songs I've been running to, that keep me moving.

Strange combination, right? I try to stay away from songs that I won't listen to if C was around. Little ears hear everything, you know? Meghan Trainor's album was a great investment. I love almost every song on it but not all are run worthy. The list above gets me through a 40 minute run. Unfortunately, it takes me a little longer to get through a 5k so I'm on the lookout for some new songs. What have you been listening to that gets the blood pumping and body moving?
