Easter 2015 :: Recap

This was the first Easter we've had in Ohio in 2 years and I was really looking forward to spending the day with my family and giving Connor the chance to experience an Easter egg hunt with his cousins.

We attended church Sunday morning with my brother in law, sister in law and niece and nephew. The sermon was spot on and each member of the church was given a stone as a reminder that Jesus still moves stones; that he can move any stone (obstacle, heart ache) in your life. It was such a perfect message for me to hear this week.

Once church let out, we packed up the car with Easter goodies and heading to my parent's house. We ate way too much food and then enjoyed a few hours outdoors. First off, hunting Easter eggs!

We hunted until our Sunday best wasn't our best anymore. My parents had money eggs this year and Connor made out with $8.75 which included the Golden $5 Egg. #winning

Full disclosure: I hid the eggs. My Mom made the mistake of telling me which egg was the Golden Egg. Hence why Connor found it. What can I say? I don't like to loss.

Watching Connor play with my niece and nephew was the best. He now refers to my nephew Will as his best friend. Connor can and will make a best friend every where he goes. He loves people. Will and Connor played together the majority of the day and I was able to snag this sweet photo of them. Once I viewed it on my camera, it become an instant favorite.

I was able to get one good photo of all the kids together. I had no clue how hard it would be to get 4 kids to take a photo. I'm fairly impressed they are all looking at the camera. I imagine this to be a photo we duplicate year after year.

Hope each of you had a wonderful Easter!
Happy Hump Day, friends!
