25 Candyless Easter Basket Ideas for Children

If you are anything like me, you may be thinking "What can I put in my child's Easter basket that isn't filled with sugar and other junk they don't need?". While Connor would love nothing more than if his basket was filled with nothing but gummy bears/worms and chocolate, it's just not going to happen. Here are fun 25 fun and inexpensive alternatives to candy and food options.

+ books
+ balloons
+ Kinetic Sand
+ cars
+ dolls
+ kites
+ magic marker coloring books
+ colored pencils
+ notebooks
+ stickers
+ toothbrush
+ bouncy balls
+ coins or dollar bills
+ movies
+ Play Dough
+ crayons
+ action figures
+ hair bows and clips
+ lipgloss/chapstick
+ library card
+ sunglasses
+ gardening tools
+ painter's smock
+ vitamins
+ fingernail polish

What other ideas do you have? I love putting baskets together for my niece and nephew who are a bit older (9 and 5) so I need "big kid" ideas, too!
