My 2015 Reading List

Last year I was able to read 30 books and plan to do the same this year. When planning what books I would read, I decided to stick with just the ones I have on hand. I have over 20 books on my desk that need to be cracked open and devoured. Here is a list of the books I plan to read in 2015.

  1. True Colors by Kristin Hannah
  2. Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty
  3. Becoming Us by Amy Daws
  4. What Remains of Heaven by C.S. Harris
  5. Amazed and Confused by Heather Zempel
  6. The Ship of Brides by Jojo Moyes
  7. Dark Hope by Monica McGurk
  8. Silver Bay by Jojo Moyes
  9. Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah
  10. Crossed by Allie Condie
  11. Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline
  12. The Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Moyes
  13. Living So That by Wendy Blight
  14. Blackberry Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke
  15. Night Road by Kristin Hannah
  16. Leaving Ordinary by Donna Gaines
  17. Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo
  18. Dive Deeper by Jenifer Jernigan
  19. Red Velvet Cupcake Murder by Joanne Fluke
  20. Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty
  21. Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
  22. Home Front by Kristin Hannah
  23. Reached by Ally Condie
Every single one of this novels I either have in paperback sitting on my desk or on my Kindle thanks to unbelievably cheap sales this past Christmas. You may notice repeat authors Jojo Moyes, Kristin Hannah and Liane Moriarty. If you haven't read anything by either of them DO SO! Start with Me Before You by Jojo. It's my favorite book of 2014. Firefly Lane by Hannah made me cry like a baby and tell my best friend how much I love her. And ya'll know I'm not one for mushy mushy. Liane Moriarty wrote The Husband's Secret and it really makes you think. I recommend them all!

Once I knock these out, which will take a good 8-9 months, I will then start looking for new ones to add to my list. Which books do you recommend for me to read? I love just about anything so any and all suggestions are welcomed!

  1. I've not heard of any of these authors, do you do reviews anywhere? Goodreads?

  5. I really like JoJo Moyers and Liane Moriarty. I did pretty good last year and was able to read a few books, I wish I had more time for reading but I'm too much of a t.v. addict. If I can read 5-6 a year that's good for me. Sad I know.
