Today's post is short and sweet. You can find me taking over Nancy's blog: Neatly - Packaged

Nancy is now a married woman and is on her honeymoon. Lucky lady! The only thing better than being on a honeymoon is having a honeymoon near or on Christmas. We all know I would be in HEAVEN!

:: I don't want to give away too much of my most BUT here is a sneak peak of what my post is about ::
+ There is no such thing as perfect
+ Men are messy
+ Communication is key

For more on my thoughts on marriage and my 3 pieces of advice, hop over to Nancy's blog and read my post. Leave a comment here letting me know what you think of my guest post.

  1. OMG Steph! Communication is so important! I completely agree! Marriage is HARD! I wish people would realize that before they sign up for it. It's certainly a commitment also. Can I also mention that I think you are fabulous?! ;-P

  2. I totally agree with this! I always have to remind myself that our relationship isn't going to be perfect and we both have learned over the years that we need to communicate.

  7. Love the post over at Nancy's. Communication is so important, but it's also smart to know when to NOT communicate! :-)

  11. I definitely have one of those very messy husbands! Neither us are neat freaks, but he's especially bad about ignoring a ridiculous mess!

  13. Communication is definitely key and something we work on each and every day! I would also definitely add never stop dating and never stop trying. Just because you're married doesn't mean you stop working at the relationship. It's important to make your partner feel valued and special so making sure to do those little things that will mean the most to them :)

  16. This post came at a good time for me. My boyfriend and I have been having a rough past few weeks and we came incredibly close to breaking up this morning and I really feel like I need a reminder that he's a human being. and that all good humans are worth fighting for. We really realized that today, that you don't just give up with the person you love. Thank you for posting this.

  17. I loved your marriage post. In a few days my husband and I will be celebrating our 1st year of marriage (Dec 30).

MAN. Men ARE messy. I cannot get over how clean the house can be, and over the course of 12 hours when he's home from work, sleeping then getting ready for work - the house becomes a pig sty hahahaha.

I've come to realize communication is key in the relationship. No one can read each other's minds, and often we have gotten into little quarrels because of the fact we thought someone was doing/thinking something else you know?

  18. Men are so messy aren't they?! It makes me laugh so much when I come home and the house is a tip again or there are dishes in the sink! I'm quite looking forward to on day getting married!

  20. I loved what you said here: While no one is perfect, everyone is worthy of being loved perfectly. Great advice for anyone, married or not.

  21. Such great advice! I especially love the part about how messy men can be, even if they seem super organized. Sometimes we just get lazy, and that's perfectly okay! :)
