Book Bundle {Giveaway}

One of my 2014 goals was to find time to read more. I've always been a huge bookworm (I shared details about such in this post and this one) and once we had Connor, my schedule didn't really allow for reading as much as I would have liked. But I wanted to change that so I focused on working reading into my daily routine. So far in 2014, I've read a total of 27 books. I'm currently reading book number 28, Matched, and think that will be the last book of 2014. I had set a goal of 30 so I'll be 2 novels shy of that but 28 books is still impressive.

I'm also still a huge fan of reading PRINTED books. Gasp! I know. While I will read books on the iPhone iBook app and on my Kindle, I balance it all with reading paperback books as well. Something about turning the pages to move through a story is totally comforting for me. I can't be the only one, right? I hope not because I'm giving away 5 books I've read this year and want to pass along to one lucky Wife Mommy Me reader.

One fellow book lovin' reader will win the following book ...

Bossypants by Tina Fey
The Widow Waltz by Sally Koslow
Sparkly Green Earrings by Melanie Shankle
The Weight of Blood by Laura McHugh

The Girl You Left Behind and Sparkly Green Earrings are 2 of my favorites from the group of books I've read this year. Jojo Moyes is my new go to author when I'm looking for a fabulous read while I meet Melanie this past year at MOPS and just feel in love with her as a fellow Momma. Neither books will disappoint.

You can enter to win these books by following the prompts in the Rafflecopter below. Winner will be picked and contacted on Friday. GOOD LUCK!

  4. Congrats on all the reading! I'd love to read more but just don't ever know what is a good read and don't want to waste my time on a bad one. I'll have to try one of the above! Thanks!

  6. These sound like good books! I've actually downloaded "Sparkly Green Earrings" but haven't read it yet. I have been reading a lot of Teri Blackstock. She is a Christian author that writes mysteries. Love her!

  7. Awesome job getting your reading on. I got up to 23 this year with a goal of 35, but I just read such flops this year that it unmotivated me. It never helps that the library is always out of the good ones. I've got Jojo on my list. I've loved Deborah Harkness this year the most though, and James Rollins Sigma series.

  12. I haven't read nearly as much as I wanted this year. I don't really know what my count is but it's not a lot. Booooo. I did just finish a great book called The Age of Miracles. And when I say "just finished" what I really mean is that it took me about six months to read. #truth Fun giveaway!

  13. I am planning on doing a reading challenge with my sister in law for the new year and I am already so excited! We used to have a book blog so I am thinking of restarting it to go along with the challenge. I read all the Gillian Flynn books this year and my favorite was Sharp Objects.

    Seriously just one favorite book? Nope, you're going to get a few: The Kitchen House (Kathleen Grissom), The Orphan Train (Christina Baker Kline), The Cuckoo's Calling (Robert Galbraith). Happy Reading! :)
