All about that Christmas

It's Black Friday which means only one thing: BRING ON CHRISTMAS!

I respected the turkey to the fullest extent. I waited until AFTER Thanksgiving dinner to decorate our home and put up our Christmas tree. So now be prepared for loads of Christmas on Wife Mommy Me and every single social media outlet I'm registered with. So what's coming up for December and Christmas? Let me share a few things with you...

We are incorporating the Elf on The Shelf this year with Connor. I'm hoping that it goes as planned and I don't stress myself out trying to work Kringle {our elf} into our daily routine. I'll be sharing our Kringle adventures with you over the next 20 some days so if my cute kid and Christmas ain't your thing... #sorryImnotsorry

I'm also doing a fun Christmas photo challenge. Details can be found HERE. I am really looking forward to completing my first holiday photo challenge and I would love to have you join me.

And to kick off Christmas in true fashion, here is a peek of our night with Santa.

It wasn't a total bust but I would have loved a more cozy photo of the duo. Connor didn't lose it but he wasn't really sure of Santa either. He did get close enough to tell Santa he wants a green race car so now we have an idea of one gift that better be under our Christmas tree come December 25th.

Today, we are going to be enjoy a family fun day with trains, {fake} snow and Christmas lights in our downtown center. It's safe to say, the Cox family is knee deep in celebrating Christmas and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Happy Friday!

    1. I really didn't want to decorate any earlier... I like being able to enjoy the decor for about a month or so then I'm done with it. Trying to keep a 2 year old out of everything is a bit tricky!

    1. I think having Connor home all day, I would have lost my mind trying to keep him out of the decor I do put up!

  3. Oh I love it! I totally failed with respecting the bird this year. Marli is 20 months so she doesn't care much about the turkey, but oh my word - when she saw the Christmas tree go up a week ago, she got so excited and was in complete awe. Cutest thing ever!

    1. As strange as this sounds, I'm not a big fan of decorating the outside of our house. Maybe it's because I can't do it on my own and my husband doesn't really have an interest in it so...

  6. We love our Elf, Dash! I think it's such a great tradition. Tonight, ours is bringing a book from Santa....each weekend Santa sends the kids a Christmas book, it's fun!

  7. Haha #Sorryimnotsorry. That is EXACTLY how I feel about the elf and my excitement about all things Christmas really. Can't wait to follow along. I LOVE Kringle to, so cute. Marissa named ours Bob when she was 4, this year since Emily is almost 4 she got to pick a middle name, Jingle. So we have a Mr. Bob Jingle lolololol.

    1. Bob Jingle is more than welcomed at our home anytime. I think he and Kringle would get a long smashingly.

  8. Not gonna lie... kiiiiiinda wanted to decorate earlier since T-Day was so late this year but I didn't and I'm so happy. Instead, we found a tree the day after T-Day that I fell in love with and convinced Seth that we NEEDED (not just that I wanted, but NEEDED). "Mason NEEDS a real tree!!! And look how cute and little this one is! It will so fit". Needless to say, I won :) YAY for Christmas!

  9. So guilty of decorating early. BUT, in my defense, Thanksgiving was SO LATE this year! Our Christmas decor was only up a week before Turkey Day…
How much fun are you having with Elf on the Shelf?! It's my new favorite holiday tradition.
And, WHERE did you get that adorable Santa shirt for C?!!
