My {GRATEFUL} Heart

Hey hey, it's Friday.

Life lately has been good. I mean, yeah, I had a moment earlier this week that made me wonder why I thought I could be in charge of another human but other than that, our lives have been pretty simple.

With a second birthday coming up and the holidays quickly to following that, I know that at this very moment I need to soak in every. second. of this blessed life. Every day, this little guy reminds me of how precious life is. How God blessed James and I will are own little miracle.

In this moment, I am grateful for so much...

+ a Heavenly Father that forgives me for all my flaws yet loves me unconditionally
+ a loving husband that supports my crazy ideas and bold antics
+ a son that makes me proud to be his Momma
+ parents that still think I'm their baby girl
+ brothers that have learned time and distance make relationships precious
+ friends that provide me with daily doses of support and laughter
+ vacation plans with girlfriends
+ cooler weather and Fall themed weekends
+ taking the time to know what's important, what makes a heart grateful

What are you grateful this week?
Happy Friday!

  2. Connor is such a handsome boy. I just love pics by the pond, especially that on you put as your Facebook cover, I think.

Love the list. So often people spend so much time thinking about what they are owed, or deserve or "need" that they forget to be grateful for the abundant blessings right in front of their faces.

    1. I have to remember to be grateful of even the littlest of things. If not, then I find myself complaining about the most ridiculous things, really.

  3. Vacation plans with girl friends - YAY!!!! :)
Love your list. I think I need to make one of these for myself. Life can get pretty busy, and full of the "fluff" that sometimes it's nice to step back and evaluate what is *really good* in our lives.

    1. He is pretty handsome, isn't he? Of course, I think so, so it's nice to hear someone else feels the same way I do.
