Fall Family Bucket List: Party Planning

In a little over 2 weeks sweet baby boy turns 2. That's right 2! How is that possible? Yesterday, Timehop decided to really stick it to me and remind me how fast a year can go. The difference takes my breath away and melts my heart. No longer do we have a toddling little one who jibber jabbers but instead we have a full fledged kid who can run circles around us all the while talking our ears off. He is full of spunk and personality and every day with him is fabulous.

Back to the point of today's post... I'm in the middle of planning Connor's birthday party. Last year, we went all out. We threw two parties... one in Ohio and then one here in Texas. Since we aren't traveling back to Ohio for his birthday this year, my workload is much lighter. Smaller or not, I still want to give Connor a fabulous birthday party.

This year's birthday theme is Connor's Pumpkin Painting Party. Connor loves crafts so I know he is going to have the best time painting pumpkins and enjoying his very own at home pumpkin patch. I'm all about suspense so you won't find any more details on his big day than what I've shared already. Don't worry though, I'll document it all soon enough!

Don't forget to linkup your Fall activities! Desiree, Elizabeth and I love seeing what you and your families do to make the Fall the happiest season of all!

  1. I LOVE how much he's grown in just a year. But still with that super cute full of life smile. Excited for his party and I love how you picked a theme that plays to his interest in crafts!

    1. I have the first photo on canvas in his room. He had just started walking and I remember thinking he was BIG then.

    1. Oh thank you! He might be more handsome but he is always so much more of a handful. In the best of ways of course.

    1. He is. I'm just hoping I can tame some of his creative juices so he doesn't make a huge mess.
