    1. No but if you smell like pumpkin, you can feel a little more Fall like no matter what the temps!

  2. It's always fun to learn some facts! I'm loving scarves, boots, leggings, cardigans, and long sleeve tees for fall.

    1. I am waiting patiently for the temps to allow those pieces of clothing.

  3. I totally get what you mean about helping keep your sanity in a new state. It has really helped me in that way too. Although I guess after almost three years, it's not so new anymore. Lol

    1. We've been here almost 2 and I still feel new. I think until you start running into folks you know when you run errands, it will always feel new.

  4. What a fun post- I learned a lot! :) I much prefer a paperback book than an electronic one, but I do use my kindle app a lot to rent books from the library since it's cheaper!

  7. I second carmex. I always have to have that stuff. It does so many things! Running on Thanksgiving?! I love it! I saw some of those last year I do believe. I thought it was a great way to start off a holiday, you know..if I was a runner. But, good for you! And paper books will always be better than electronic.

    1. Oh man. I think that as long as your booty is covered and they aren't see through then you should be able to wear them. Want me to make a call? ;)

    1. I started this post a couple week ago and just added to it when I thought of a answer to add to the list. Try that, it might make it easier for you.

  14. Paperbacks all the way.

I love that your beauty products are so simple. I am a no fuss kind of gal so I relate.
I would be: Chapstick, face scrub, lotion, Vaseline and eyeliner. If I had only those things I'd be okay with that.

Who is your BFF? She is adorable.

I am going to stick this away for my rainy day post list :).

  15. You know I've never been to California either!

I'm also not much of a crier. Well, I used to not be at all. Then my hormones went and got all jacked up. Now I'm like a once a month crier ;)

    1. Right? Aren't we all? James knows what's going on that week. He just rolls his eyes and chalks it up as a woman thing.

  16. Girl, you know your first five things are almost IDENTICAL to things about me too! I am so not a crier. I have become more "sappy" since Mason was born but it still takes a lot. I love to be matchy matchy with my 7 year old niece (and bought her a matching scarf to mine!). I could go without change too. I always tuck my hair behind my ears (when I actually do it) and I totally prefer real paperback books to ebooks!

  17. I wasn't a crier either, but since I was pregnant, I'm so emotional!

  18. Love these little snippets!
Is it November yet? I'm so.freaking.pumped!!!
    What I Love About Blogging:
I've been introduced to some of the most amazing women.
Some of those women I've gotten to meet in real life, and will be meeting soon (seriously, November…)
Blogging helps give me the extra "push" to do different things, therefore having new material to write about in our day-to-day adventures.
I've taken an interest in taking good pictures (not perfect, not professions, but not my damn iPhone).
There's a pretty detailed baby book, recipe file, and fitness goal tracker all at my fingertips.

  19. Yay for visiting Cali - I love visiting there (cannot afford to live no way!)! Are you going to get to meet Desiree or Liz while you're there? That would be so much fun! I'm not a crier either (although I cry way more as a mom) so it means serious business when I cry. :)

  21. Love this list!!! Your 5 things list...I could have written it with one exception. The first one would have said I am a HUGE crier!! I mean....last night we were watching Derek Jeter's last game and I cried like a baby. Over a baseball player retiring. Haha!
