It's The Little Things

Sometimes, I'm completely amazed by this little person God blessed Mister and I with. With the busy, hustle and bustle of every day life getting in the way, I often find myself taking days with Connor for granite. That's something I'm not proud of or what to make a habit of.

I need to soak up his smile.

I want to always remember how soft and warm his skin is.

He won't always be a little one with bruised knees that need kissed.

I want to always remember him as the little boy who loved to climb. Who loved to explore. Who made my heart ache with love and admiration. Who knew his Momma treasured photos and memories so he was always willing to "cheese" just one more time. I want to always remember that it's one little thing on top of another and another that make life so beautiful to look back on.

And at the end of the day, I will continue to give thanks to God for the little things He puts in our lives because it's the every day things that make our life wonderful, blessed and something to always treasure.

    1. We can't figure out where he gets his looks from. Some say me but I don't really see it.
