Summer TV

Summer is here and along with the ridiculously warm temperatures, we have the return of some of my can't wait to watch television shows. Just like my summer bucket list, I have a handful of must watch shows.

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 53 cameras and 97 microphones, recording their every move. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. We get to see backstabbing, tears and more drama than you ever thought possible in such a small space. At the end of the season, the last remaining Houseguest wins the grand price of $500,000!

Watch as HGTV's Property Brothers lead two teams of experts to add value to two homes in the ultimate renovation showdown this summer with Brother VS Brother. I can't say which team I'm on - Drew or Scott - because I adore them both. They've made me what to be a homeowner so badly. I'm looking forward to watching them duel it out. Regardless of whose team wins, you can be sure that you'll fall in love with the home of your dreams.

Based on the hit UK television series of the same name, Mistresses is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery. These four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life's storms of excitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they've created.

Please tell me you are familiar with these ladies? The Real Housewives of New Jersey shares the good, bad and over the top of personalities of the Jersey wives. Season 6 introduces us to 3 new cast members and one returning member with Dina. Sadly, some of my favorite wives have moved on from the show. Either way, I know the Jersey ladies are going to bring juicy drama into my household this summer.

Thanks to my DVR, I'll be able to watch each of my shows when time allows. Nothing says summer like television drama and competition.
What summer shows are you looking forward to?

  2. I've never watched any of the three shows! hahaha. For the longest time (til I read your post today), I thought that Brother vs. Brother was a DIY show, like where they do home renovations and whatnot! I think I would enjoy Mistresses though. I can probably start watching it since Once Upon A Time is over for this season. Thanks for sharing! What season is Mistresses on?
