A Milestone Memory

As a blogger Mom, there are monthly milestones that are celebrated and documented with posts and photos. Ones that are plastered all over Facebook, Instragram and Blogger. Connor turning 18 months old is a perfect example of such a milestone. One that came and went so quickly, I'm glad I got to document the heck out of it.

If you look real close at the picture above, you'll see that Connor has rocks in his hands. When I tell you that he loves rocks, that is no joke. He is crazy about them. I love that this picture captured his love of the outdoors. He is all boy and we are in love with every single rowdy piece of our little guy.

Black and white photos aren't always a favorite of mine. I think they lack the dimension I love in photos but this one stole my heart. Getting a toddler to sit still is nearly impossible let alone having them to look into the distance but I'm sure Connor found something he thought was interesting and was busy wondering how he could get to it as quickly as possible. I love how I can see his Daddy in him in the photo.

Forget happy wife, it's a happy baby that makes a happy life! There is nothing I love more than the sound of Connor's laughter. And boy, does he have a big laugh! It's the kind of laugh that has the ability to make you laugh even when you aren't in the laughing mood. I hope that our sweet boy stays this happy, full of giggles because it's a good look on him, don't you think?

With each passing day, Connor is getting that much closer to turning 2. Gaining his independence, becoming more boy with each growth spurt. As days go by, making memories and documenting our little loves life, I know that with each milestone we encounter, we have the chance to freeze time with the photos we get of our little one.

It's moments like these that make the hard days easier to tackle. Life with Connor is simply days full of milestones and memories.
