Happy Friday!

Simply put, Fridays are my favorite day of the week.
Come 5PM, Mister is off work and we are a busy family of 3, tackling the weekend and all it's endless possibilities. This weekend is no exception.

Tonight, family night and hopefully a fire on the back porch once the little guy goes to bed.

Saturday, we have a date with Elmo and Sesame Street Live at 10:30. Connor has no clue that he is going to be hanging out with his boy Mo and I can't wait to see his reaction. With all the music and a couple hours of Mo, our boy is going to be in his own personal heaven. We have a couple festivals we are toying with going to after Sesame Street Live and Connor naps. We are total festival groupies... does that make me weird?

We've rented bikes and a child trailer for Sunday and are going to go biking for a couple hours. This may be the worst idea we have ever had. It will either be totally fun or a total disaster. Leave it up to the Cox family to through caution to the wind.

It's Bluebonnet season here in TX, which means I need to find a field and bribe Connor to look at me so I can get the traditional yearly Bluebonnet photo. I'll need to tackle this when the sun is setting to get the best photo possible. Wish me luck?

With so much packed into 72 hours, it's no wonder that our weekends fly by. Time as a family is more precious than the finest diamonds and I can't help but look forward to jam packed weekends with my guys. If time is going to fly by, we might as well enjoy every last minute, making as many memories as we can.

  5. Hopefully your son cooperates and even if he does not look at you while in the bluebonnets, their can still be cute pics created. If you like festivals then you should come to SA and join in on some Fiesta events... I believe they start in a week!

  9. Love that quote. And, love bluebonnet season because I love seeing all the pictures pop up everywhere! Even before I read blogs they were all over.

I love a full and busy weekend. Definitely report back about the bike ride. I think that it would be a lot of fun, and maybe would want to with Aria. But, definitely could go either way haha. Good luck!
