So What! Wednesday

This week, I'm saying So What! if...

* being on vacation with Connor has taught me we can veer of course with his nap schedule and all Hell doesn't break loose. This week hasn't been scheduled like usual and Connor has done so well. He is such a trooper and I'm so proud of him.

* having 3 kids in the house (ages 3, 2 and 1) has killed any chance of me ever giving Connor a sibling. Plain and simple, I'm not capable of mothering more than one child at a time.

* I am head over heels in love with Courtney over at Keystroke Journaling. I love how she writes; when I read her post, I feel like I'm sitting in her living room listening to a girlfriend chat. Check her out. Also? Her little girl is to die for adorable.

* summer is fast approaching and I need to find a new bathing suit and I can't find one I like, let alone love. I want something functional for pool days with a toddler, providing coverage of the ladies and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?

* my lust over Target is slowly dying to a simply like. This makes both James and our bank account happy but not me. Where does a girl shop if not at Target? I just feel like they need to step up their game.

  1. i was going to write "look at target" for your bathing suit, and then i got to the last part of the blog. seriously, i dont know if we can carry on our love affair with that nonsense you write about. boooooo. (dont worry, i still love ya... but it is truly unacceptable in my eyes that you could give up target so easily!)

  3. I get most of my bathing suits at Target but I think you could try Old Navy, Kohls or hell even Walmart.

  5. My best advice for you and it is really good advice.. if you want a swimsuit that is cute, holds your ta ta's in place, and looks good.. go to Everything But Water! I should write a post about this and maybe I will... but THAT store is for moms like us! You will spend a pretty penny but it is so worth it.... Trust me on this!

  7. I high five you on the whole "mother to one" thing. I could be a sub par mom to more than one but would rather be a great mom to just one. I truly look up to those moms who can juggle more - amazing women. And a whole hearty "AMEN" to falling out of love with Target. I'm on that track myself these days. Just today, I went in to buy diapers and saw a pair of shorts hanging in the junior/teen section that were barely long enough to cover the front privates let alone anything else. I mean, seriously?? Target is drunk if they think I would ever put something like that on my daughter. They really need to step it up.

  9. There have been very few Target trips for us, too. I leave there feeling underwhelmed, but still trying to figure out what the hell I spent my money on!

If you have a minute, this article is hilarious! It might be all you (we) need to go back to Target for our next fix.

  10. Throw caution to the wind! My 6 year old is out of school today for the School's Professional Development Day. I let him stay up as late as he wanted to last night because I knew he would drift off early. I let him have ice cream, pizza, and popsicles today. He's a kid! So what? Happy kid, happy mommy.
