That's Fresh Friday

It's Friday... I just got paid... wait. That's a lie. I don't get paid. Whomp! Whomp! But you know where I was going... it's FRIDAY! And today, I want to share a fun new link-up I discovered. As a new member of the Southern Girl Blog Community, I'm happy to share the That's Fresh Friday link-up. That’s Fresh Friday is a weekly link up where you can come and share your pretty DIY projects, your hot little outfit or your yummiest recipe– anything goes!

I wish I could have planned better for this link-up as I didn't complete a single project, rock a cute outfit or make a yummy recipe this week BUT I did think this could be a great way for me to share some of my favorite food pins from Pinterest. Not only have they been pinned but they have been prepared and approved by me and the boys.

The following is a list of pins I've completed and love! Simple recipes that not only will your picky eater love, but are great for little ones (think babes C's age).

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole - add a veggie as a side dish and you have a easy, quick meal that is filling and delicious. I would use a little less rice as the recipe calls for quite a bit and you'll have lots left over.

Baked Penne with Philadelphia Cooking Cream - make a side salad and some toasted garlic bread and you have a hearty Italian dish that pleases every one.

Hot Ham and Cheese Pinwheels - this twist on ham and cheese is a great lunch idea. Add some spinach to ham and cheese for a boost of greens and you got yourself a easy go to lunch.

And the last one I'm sharing is my favorite go to meal. It's simple, tasty and takes no effort to prepare or cook. Italian Chicken and Veggies Bake offers you a quick dinner that is a crowd pleasure. Sub out the green beans for broccoli and add some peppers for some heat. It's so good. We have this at least twice a month.

The board I pin to most often is my Get In My Belly board. I love finding new, fresh meal ideas for me and the guys. I don't want to make the same things over and over again and with Pinterest, I don't have to. Here are a few of the pins I'm looking forward to making.

Loaded Potato and Chicken Casserole
Baked Ham and Cheese Sammies
Chili Tortellini
Mini Tacos

I hope you've found a recipe or two you can add into your meal planning. I can promise you all the ones I've shared are easy. With a very active 14 month old, I can't spend hours in the kitchen. What is your favorite Pinterest dinner or lunch? Please share! I'm always on the lookout for new things to try!

Hope ya'll have a great weekend!
