Branching Out & Lending a Hand

Happy Friday Eve! It's crazy to me that the first week of January is coming to an end. Time sure isn't going to slow down so I guess I should just buck up and enjoy the crazy ride.

I've been really networking this month and slowly growing our blog. If you would have told me 2 1/2 years ago that I would have so many readers and fan, I wouldn't have believed it. I can't tell you all how thankful I am to be where I am with Wife Mommy Me.

This month, I'm sponsoring two fellow Texan bloggers. Jennifer blogs over at Busy Being Jennifer. And when she says busy, she means BUSY!! On any given day, you can find her crafting, quilting, cooking and baking. And everything she post makes me hugely jealous of her talents in the craft room and the kitchen. Maybe one day. You can also find me over at Pink Heels Pink Truck sponsoring Taylor. Taylor's lifestyle blog covers fashion, her addiction to shoes, cooking and crafting and life on the road as a petroleum landman. Be sure to check out both ladies, you'll be thanking me when you do!

Along with trying my hand at sponsoring fellow bloggers, I've also joined two bloggers group. Texas Women Bloggers is a group of over 400+ bloggers that hail from the state the Lonestar state. Networking and reading fresh new blogs have given me a lot of good ideas that I hope to share with you all in the next few months. In addition to TWB, I'm also a member of the Southern Girl Blog Community. Connecting with other bloggers in my area along with ones as north as Kentucky (it's weird to say Kentucky's north since for the first 30 years of my life it was south) and as east as Florida has really open networking doors and a chance to share Wife Mommy Me with women of all walks of life.

Since I've been busy putting myself out there and it's safe to say I have a lot of new readers, I wanted to share my top 5 most visited post of 2013.

Blogging has been such a blessing. I am able to connect with other women who are in the same phase of life as me along with others who are either starting out on their own or our raising grandchildren. No matter what the stage of life we are in as women, it's so important to have a support system and I have found that in blogging. Some days, I may share the most mundane things while there are times when I really seem to hit a chord with my readers. Either way, Wife Mommy Me is growing, learning and branching out. Thanks for the support, advice and love. It's much appreciated.

For those of you who are new to blogging and would like some exposure, be sure to email (sacox65@gmail.com) me to secure one of the last few spots in my Saturday Spotlight Blogger series.

I'll be back tomorrow with a fun new linkup. Be sure to visit and check it out.
