Super Connor

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. This year was no exception as I was really looking forward to taking Connor Trick or Treating and dressing him up for the occasion. Connor had other plans on the dressing up part, though.

I had planned for him to go as Frankenstein. When I was in the hospital last year, it was during the Frankenstorm that hit the East coast. Additionally, he was born the day before Halloween. With those two factors, I nicknamed him Frankenstein or Frankie for short. So needless to say, had he went as Frankenstein, I would have been so geeked. But Connor hates wearing anything on his head. And he couldn't be Frankenstein without tall black hair, right? But since he straight up refuses so that was out. Everything made for a 12 month old includes a head piece or a mask and that's a no go as well.

So after much thought and searching, we decided to dress him as Superman. And let me tell you, he was the cutest little super hero I've ever laid eyes on. Don't you agree?

You'd let him save the day, wouldn't you? Ha!

We went Trick or Treating for about 30 minutes around a friend's neighborhood. Connor didn't really know what was going on but he enjoyed going through his basket of candy. And since he doesn't need or eat any of those goodies just yet, we didn't pick up too much candy.

Next year, we will be a 2 year old - walking, running and talking - Trick or Treater. And maybe, just maybe, I can get him to be Frankenstein!

  1. So cute!!! I love the superman outfit. :)

  2. He's a-freaking-dorable! Hunter doesn't like have anything on his head or face either, I was shocked he kept his hat on for his costume but knew he wouldn't put up with anything elborate.

  3. That costume is too cute! :) I would definitely let him save the day.

  4. Okay, I'm not going to lie to you. You had said something previously about his costume being AMAZING and you couldn't wait to reveal it and when I saw the pictures of him dressed as Superman on Facebook, I was a bit confused, haha. Frankenstein would be SO perfect though. He's cute either way. ;)

  5. That costume is perfect! It fits him so well. Glad you had a good Halloween!

  6. He can be my superhero any day of the week!
