Whats for dinner?

Before the arrival of Connor and moving to Texas, James and I weren't much for eating at home. Rather than coming home each evening and cooking dinner, we would dine out, 3-5 times a week. However, since becoming a SAHM, I've really surprised myself (along with James) with my attempts of making dinner each night for us.

The best part of my attempts is that Pinterest has made finding and trying new recipes so easy. I am a pretty picky eater. As much as I try to add variety to my plate, it's just hard, down right impossible. But like I said previously, Pinterest has added a bit of variety to our meals. Here are a few of my favorites:

And I've made and LOVED one dessert from Pinterest. Make it, but don't hold it against me for the caloric value.

I do plan our meals out each week. Not everything is from Pinterest. I am not that domestic nor do I have the time to cook amazing dinners, night after night. Some of our favorites are Cox household staples such as Zatarain's Jambalaya, tacos every Tuesday (Taco Tuesday is James' favorite) and pizza, both homemade and delivery. But this week we are going to add Easy Peasy Cheese Tortellini with Meat Sauce and Crockpot Cheese Tortellini. Shannon tipped me off to the Crockpot Cheese Tortellini. Can you tell I like my carbs? And the crockpot?

What are your favorite Pinterest meals?

  2. Those tacos looks AMAZING! I have to say that Pinterest has really added a lot of new recipes, activities, crafts and so on to our life as well. It can really be an amazing tool as long as you take it beyond just the 'pinning' part!
