Bueller? Bueller?

Have you been worried sick?? Sorry to make you stress. I needed a break from blogging. I felt like I was blogging too much and not living enough. Does that make any sense to any of you?? I'm sure it was some type of pregnancy moment but regardless, I took a break and I'm feeling good. Let's catch up:

  • Mister and I went on vacation over the 4th. It was the most amazing 8 days and I felt better mentality, physically and emotionally after the time away from work and grown-up stuff. 8 days with James was exactly what I needed. It only reinforced the love I have for him. He is an amazing husband and will be the best Daddy... hands down.
  • I am rapidly approaching the end of my 2nd trimester. I can't believe how fast pregnancy goes. I'm sure when I get closer to my due date, I will start feeling like I've been pregnant forever but as of right now, I'm feeling good. I'm trying my damnest to be healthy through this pregnancy. I've started water aerobics 2 nights a week and start a Mommy in Motion class in August. I'd like to be able to walk more but damn is it hot outside. So as of July 17, I was up 16 pounds at 26 weeks. I'm okay with that so keep your judgmental thoughts to yourself! ;)
  •  My baby shower is August 4 and then we will start the process of turning the office into Connor's room. I can't believe that we are to that point already.
  • And lastly, I want to admit that while gone, I missed some of the "friends" I've meet through the blog world. I'd like to thank you ladies for being some of the most "normal" people in my life not to mention the only ones that keep in real. I appreciate it more than you know!

  5. Welcome back! Sounds like a great vacation. I'm still bummed we didn't get to take a vacation before Hunter was born.

    1. We didn't get a honeymoon thanks to life and work so when we found out we were expecting, I (demanded) suggested a Babymoon. Best decision ever!

  6. 16 pounds is not that much! I gained almost 50 with Henry so I was probably over 20 by the point you are at!

    1. I was trying to stay around a 35 pound range but think I will go over. I'm okay with it though. I'm growing a human being, I'm allowed to enjoy myself and all the food I can handle! :) Congrats on William. I love hearing how life works for other Mommies.
